Welcoming Tyler to Team CSC

Welcoming Tyler to Team CSC

We had the privilege of meeting Tyler Bench last summer at a networking event in Seattle. Isn’t it funny how life sends you great opportunities? Meeting Tyler was one of those moments. Now Tyler is working with us on our marketing and communications strategy. We couldn’t be more excited! Here’s Tyler, in his own words:

Tyler-headshotHi everyone,

I’m Tyler, and I’m very excited to be a part of Community Sourced Capital. I’m an undergraduate business student in my final semester at the University of North Carolina, and I have a passion for marrying business and sustainability. As a student, I’ve done everything from running a community garden that serves the homeless, to working for a B Corporation, to leading my local chapter of Net Impact.

As I transition out of college and into a career, I’m looking to put my skills to work for startups that are changing the world for the better, and Community Sourced Capital is just such a startup. By building a vehicle for direct financial investment in local business, CSC is helping to create sustainable jobs, as well as build healthy economic systems that support and sustain communities in the long-term.

When I met Casey last summer, I was immediately captivated by CSC’s powerful business model and the warm, genuine team behind it. As I watched CSC develop from a distance, I knew I had to get involved. So, here I am. Casey, Rachel and the whole CSC team have been kind enough to invite me along on their journey into sustainable finance. I have the unique opportunity to be part of a growing company during a time of growth and development in my life. Here’s to funding a better world!

Please join us in welcoming Tyler to the team!
