The Fund Local Project

We know we support our community when we buy local. Local farmers and growers are supported when we eat local. Now there's a way to Fund Local.

The Fund Local Project is a statewide initiative launched by the Washington State Department of Commerce to promote thriving local economies by helping small businesses access 0% interest loans.

Department of commerce logo community sourced capitalFund Local is creating opportunities for locally-funded loans in each of the 39 counties in our great state. The capital for these loans comes from people in the surrounding community where a business operates.

Community Sourced Capital’s online lending platform is managing these loans to make it easy for Washingtonians to lend small amounts of money to businesses they know and love.

When people Fund Local, they strengthen their community and keep more dollars circulating in the areas where they live and work. Buy local. Eat local. Fund Local.
