Jefferson County is the home of some of the most spectacular scenery in Washington State, the Olympic Mountains, Strait of Juan de Fuca, and the Queets River can all be found here. Port Townsend, the only incorporated city, is known for it's Victorian buildings and hosts many arts festivals. It's also a maritime center for independent boat builders.
