Convoy Coffee at the Impact Hub

Help Convoy Coffee expand upon their bike-pulled coffee carts and open up a permanent indoor cafe inside the Impact Hub.

About the campaign

This campaign can cover the entire launch cost for a Convoy Coffee cafe based in the lobby of the Impact Hub, a co-working space geared around social good ( A fully funded campaign would allow us to pay for the electrical infrastructure, refrigeration, coffee equipment and building materials needed to build a public coffee and food service on the corner of 2nd and Washington in Pioneer Square.

Funds from this campaign can cover our entire buildout cost.

We engineer as much as possible by hand: just like our coffee bicycle trailers that we take to farmers markets and events, our goal is to engineer exciting social spaces while sharing our passion for locally-produced craft food and drinks. These funds will allow us to creatively construct a world-class espresso and brew bar featuring rotating seasonal coffees from a variety of Seattle roasters, and provide breakfast and lunch items from a wide array of farmers market vendors and artisanal food producers.

A cafe at the Impact Hub will not only help grow our community, it also provides us with a permanent location to which we can direct our existing customer base. Help us create a destination to bring together Impact Hub members, the Pioneer Square neighborhood, local food producers and the greater Seattle community. Help two earth-minded entrepreneurs launch an outstanding cafe.

Partner with community sourced capital

Community Sourced Capital exists so that businesses can access affordable capital from their community

By connecting community members, small business owners and mission-aligned funders to the goal of creating healthy communities, we’re introducing a new purpose for financial systems, removing barriers to success for entrepreneurs, and building meaningful relationships around money.

Providing affordable capital to community businesses is vital to our economy

Small businesses are the key generators of jobs in our economy and character in our communities. Everyone seems to know that. What most people don't know is how important funding is to the success of a business.

Even in this day and age, most small businesses simply cannot access the funding they need to succeed. New lenders have emerged to serve this need, but many of them charge equivalent interest rates upwards of 20 or 50 percent. These rates can compromise the stability of the businesses that ultimately provide stability to our communities.

Participate in a financial system for communities, by communities

Join a growing community of lenders regenerating their local economies through finance. Participate in a loan for a small business. Grow your business with your community. Invest in the success of your neighbor.

That's the spirit behind Community Sourced Capital's motto: Fund the world you want to live in.
